Diesel - S10/S500 Common and Additive

With an advanced formulation, our diesel provides greater engine cleanliness and energy efficiency, reducing operating costs and increasing the useful life of vehicles.

Diesel S10 Regular / Additive

The most widely used petroleum derivative in Brazil due to its versatility and lower toxicity, Diesel S10 contains 10 parts of sulfur for every million parts of fuel.

Used in diesel vehicles with a gas treatment system, thus reducing the amount of pollutants released into the atmosphere. It is especially intended for vehicles manufactured from 2012 onwards.

Its advantages are the reduction of free pollutants in the atmosphere, improved engine and machinery performance due to the greater amount of cetane in its formula, and reduced need for maintenance.

Diesel S500 Regular / Additive

As the most consumed petroleum derivative in Brazil, it can be used in vehicles with internal combustion engines and pressure ignition, in motor vehicles, agricultural machinery and even in other types of machines that are not considered vehicles, such as power generators and heating boilers.

S500 diesel oil contains 500 parts of sulfur for every million parts of fuel. It is recommended for use in vehicles produced before 2012.

Since April 9, 2021, 12% biodiesel has been added to the Diesel mixture, which contributes to the reduction of carbon monoxide (CO) emissions into the atmosphere.

It is also available in its additive form, characterized by the presence of a multifunctional package of additives, such as dispersant, anti-corrosive and anti-foaming detergents, which act during refueling and engine operation, preventing greater wear of parts and giving the vehicle greater autonomy.

Frequently Asked Questions

Diesel S10 has a much lower amount of sulfur, just 10 parts per million, compared to S500 which contains 500 ppm, making S10 more environmentally friendly.

Yes, Diesel S10 can be used in any diesel engine without causing harm, but it is especially beneficial for engines with modern emission control technologies.

Yes, Diesel S10 releases fewer pollutants into the air due to its low sulfur content, helping to reduce the formation of acid rain and improving air quality.

The transition to Diesel S10 can help reduce the frequency of maintenance related to the exhaust system and particle filters, due to the lower amount of sulfur residues.

No special infrastructure is required, but it is important to ensure that tanks are clean and free of debris to avoid fuel contamination.

Efficiency can vary depending on the vehicle and engine, but Diesel S10 generally offers cleaner combustion, which can improve engine efficiency.
